Information about the Coronavirus

We understand that since the conclusion of the International Conference of Doble Clients, concerns about exposure to COVID-19 in Boston have escalated.

At this time we have not received communication from any attendee, the Westin Boston Waterfront, the Massachusetts Public Health District, or any Health Agency from other areas alerting us to someone with the virus having participated at the conference. Should we learn of a confirmed case of Covid-19 involving a conference participant, we will follow the health department recommendations and notify participants of potential exposure observing all applicable privacy laws.

We continue to adhere to the CDC and Massachusetts Public Health guidelines. We also remind all our attendees to continue to monitor your health and follow the guidelines and advisories from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. To access those please go to:

The world’s premier conference for the electric power industry

Addressing the concerns of the power industry through education, discussion and collaboration.

The power industry faces a long list of challenges and concerns. At the International Conference of Doble Clients, we bring together your peers in the power industry to discuss the pressing topics that impact your job. Covering everything from asset management and replacement strategies, storm preparedness, operating concerns and diagnostic approaches, together we learn and discuss ways to optimize operations and maximize performance – all to ensure the reliable flow of power.

The agenda for the technical presentations is designed exclusively by and for the benefit of the electric utility, testing and industrial company delegates. Unlike other industry conferences, this Conference continues to hold firm to this differentiation. The Conference program is created by nine Client Committees, each having unique expertise in a particular area.

What we will be discussing

You drive the discussion because what matters to you, matters to our industry. Here are just some of the topics we will be addressing at this year’s conference:

  • Apparatus Diagnostics
  • Partial Discharge Testing of Transformer, Cables and Gas Insulated Switchgear
  • Use of Natural Ester
  • Garton Effect in Capacitors
  • Bushing Analysis Using Statistics
  • Application of a New Aramid Enhanced Cellulose Paper
  • IEC 61850
  • Troubles & Failures and What We Can Learn From Them
  • Focusing on your safety concerns
