Spouses, family members and companions of Conference attendees are invited to visit the Doble Companion Hospitality Room to meet with others and plan recreational activities. The room will be open each day from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM from Monday through Thursday.

There is no charge to attend this fun mixer event for companions only. We encourage all guests of attendees to come to this brunch reception. You’ll have the opportunity to meet other guests and learn more about the companion activities.

LEXINGTON AND CONCORD
The events of April 19, 1775 were a turning point in the long struggle between England and her thirteen American colonies. This tour follows the battle road from Boston to the Lexington Green, where Paul Revere’s famous ride warned the colonists that the British were coming. It was here that the first military engagements of the American Revolutionary War took place. You will visit Minuteman National Park before arriving at the Old North Bridge where the “shot heard round the world” rang out.

BOSTON’S CHINATOWN CULTURE AND CUISINE TOUR
Join us for a walking cultural tour in Boston’s Chinatown neighborhood. The tour visits long-time Chinatown eateries and offers tasting of traditional Chinese dishes, Chinese-American cuisine, and modern twists on Chinese and Chinese-American dishes created by second generation restaurant owners! You will learn about the neighborhood’s past, present, and future and leave with both a full belly and a better understanding of the Chinatown neighborhood.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10, 2019

TOUR AND TASTING AT NASHOBA VALLEY WINERY
This private tour of Nashoba Valley Winery will guide you through the entire wine making process from the pressing of the fruit to the bottling of the wines. You will have an opportunity to explore the production facility and then taste some of their wines. After the private tour, you will enjoy a buffet lunch in the upstairs suite of J’s Restaurant, a farmhouse located on the vineyard.
